Continuing a military drill in the Strait of Hormuz for 10 days, Iran tested two long range missiles. Tehran declared that both missiles hit the targets with great success.
According to IRNA, the official news agency, a long range missile was tested today within the scope of the military drill in the Gulf.
"We have successfully test-fired long-range shore-to-sea missile, called Qader, and the missile successfully destroyed the target," the Deputy Navy Commander Mahmoud Mousavi stated.
'NOOR' DID NOT MISS THE TARGET
Talking to the Iranian state television, Deputy Navy Commander Mahmoud Mousavi stated that after the tests of Qader, the tests of the new long range surface-to-surface missile called Noor have been successfully completed.
Designed by Iranian scientists and experts, Qader missiles are Cruise rocket type that has a range of 200 kilometers.
RADAR – PROOF MISSILE
Yesterday, in the course of the drill in the Strait of Hormuz, Iran tested a medium range missile that does not get caught by radar. Naming the new medium range ground to air missile “Mihrab”, Iran, claimed that this missile is equipped with the most advanced anti–radar technologies.
