The incidents of firing into air that cause death of approximately 700 people in a year, have been happening in Turkey. It is a dangerous custom to fire to celebrate during ceremonies such as wedding, engagement party, and hen night and circumcision party.

NATO air strike mistaken again 19 civilians killed (23.02.2010)

NATO forces mistaken frequently in recent times, killed once again civilians. During the air strike targeting a convoy, 19 civilians were killed.

Emanullah Hotaki, Chairman of the General Assembly of the Province of Oruzgan, stated that 19 civilians were killed as NATO Forced hit 3 minibuses traveling on a major road/

On the other hand, NATO confirmed that an attack was made on a convoy supposed to have insurgents but then, the victims were seen to be women and children.

NATO didn't make any statement about the death toll/

On the other hand, the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that they were informed that 27 of 42 people in the convoy were killed.
